Rodriguez, who has nearly 30 years of officiating experience, joined the OVC staff as Coordinator of Volleyball Officials in April 2022.
He oversees the recruiting, training, educating, and assigning of officials for the Conference.
Rodriguez also serves as the coordinator of volleyball officials for 10 other collegiate conferences including – Southeastern (NCAA Division I), ASUN (NCAA Division I), Western Athletic Conference (NCAA Division I), Southland Conference (NCAA Division I), Great American Conference (NCAA Division II), Lonestar Conference (NCAA Division II), Peach Belt Conference (NCAA Division II), American Southwest Conference (NCAA Division III), Red River Athletic Conference (NAIA) and Region XIV (NJCAA).
In addition to his coordinator of officials roles, he serves as the chair for the Texas Board of Volleyball Officials, the USA Volleyball Officials Assembly and the Lone Star Region Beach Referees. Rodriguez also serves as a USA Volleyball National Referee Coach/Mentor.
Rodriguez holds several certifications including PAVO National Referee, USAV National Referee,and USAV International Scorer.
