Gylian Finch (Gr., Mount Morris, Ill.) / McKenna Faychak (So., Delray Beach, Fla.), Chattanooga
Finch and Faychak went 4-0 for the week playing at No. 2. The twosome helped UTC clinch its first-ever OVC regular season title as they dropped only one set on the week. They registered the clinching point in the conference weekend’s opening match against Tennessee Tech, 21-18, 21-18. The duo also defeated the pairs from Lindenwood (21-13, 21-17) and Eastern Illinois (21-13, 15-21, 15-9). The pairs 21-13, 21-8 served as the clinching point for the Mocs against Morehead, securing the team's OVC regular season co-championship.
