Chattanooga will face No. 1 Stanford in the first round of the NCAA Beach Volleyball Championship. Match time is set for Friday, May 1, at 11 a.m. CT in Gulf Shores, Ala.
The Mocs earned the league's automatic bid after defeating Lindenwood, 3-0, to win its third straight OVC Beach Volleyball Championship.
UTC enters the NCAA Beach Volleyball Championship appearance at 24-4 and winners of 10 straight, 24 of its last 25. Stanford of the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) comes in with a 36-4 record.
