OVC Male Golfer of the Week

Caldwell finished fourth in a field of 72 at the Bubba Barnett Intercollegiate held at the RidgePoint Country Club in Jonesboro, Arkansas. The senior had rounds of 68-69-71 to finish at 208 (-8), marking his second Top 10 finish of the season. He ranked third in the field in birdies (15), third in par-3 scoring (2.83, -2), fourth in par-4 scoring (3.97, -1) and sixth in par-5 scoring (4.58, -5). His performance helped the UTM team to a second place team finish, its third-straight top four finish to begin the season. Through three events this year, Caldwell leads the OVC in scoring average (69.2).

OVC Female Golfer of the Week
Mya Mirocha · Jr. · Kewanee, Ill. · Eastern Illinois
Mirocha finished third at the Windy City Classic after a 36-hole total of 150 (+6). That tied for the seventh-best 36th-hole total in school history as she had rounds of 72-78. She finished one shot behind the co-leaders (who went to a playoff). It marked the best finish by an EIU women's golfer since the 2017-18 season. Mirocha has now posted three Top 10 finishes in her last five tournaments dating back to last spring. Her play helped the Eastern Illinois team finish third overall. Mirocha is the first EIU player to earn OVC Golfer of the Week honors since March 27, 2019.
