Chattanooga will face No. 1 UCLA in the first round of the NCAA Beach Volleyball Championship. Match time is set for Friday, May 2, at 10 a.m. CT in Gulf Shores, Ala.
The Mocs earned the league's automatic bid after defeating UT Martin, 3-2, to win its second straight OVC Beach Volleyball Championship.
UTC enters the NCAA Beach Volleyball Championship appearance at 26-5 and winners of 11 straight, 18 of its last 19. UCLA of the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) comes in with a 30-6 record.
