OVC Male Golfer of the Week

Maxwell claimed his second medalist honors of the season, taking first place out of 55 competitors at The Carolina Cup, held at the Carolina Country Club in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Maxwell had rounds of 71-73-68 to finish at 212 (-4), which was two shots ahead of second place. Maxwell made eagle on 9 and made four-straight birdies from 12-to-15 during his final 18 holes. He is the first TTU player to win back-to-back events since the 2005-06 season. His play helped TTU to finish in a tie for second place. Maxwell currently ranks second in the OVC in stroke average (69.4).

OVC Female Golfer of the Week

Daniels finished 18th in a field of 82 at the Butler Fall Invitational, held at the Highland Golf and Country Club in Indianapolis. The junior had rounds of 79-74-70 to finish at 223 (+13). Her final round vaulted her up 28 spots in the final standings. She currently ranks eighth in the OVC in scoring average (76.0).
