DALTON, Ga. – Little Rock completed a wire-to-wire lead to claim the 2026 Ohio Valley Conference Women’s Golf Championship on Tuesday at the Dalton Golf and Country Club.

It marked the second overall title for the Trojans, joining a crown they won in 2024.

The Trojans won by 19 shots, combining for a team score of 916.  The were followed by Morehead State (935), Tennessee Tech (943), Southern Indiana (983) and Lindenwood (983), Bryant (985), Eastern Illinois (1013), Tennessee State (1017) and Western Illinois (1063).

The final round conditions were sunny with very little wind.

With the victory, Little Rock earned the OVC's automatic bid into the NCAA Championship. The 2026 field will be announced on Wednesday, April 29 on the Golf Channel at 4 p.m. CT.

The NCAA Regionals will be held May 11-13 and take place in Ann Arbor, Michigan; Chapel Hill, North Carolina; Simpsonville, Kentucky; Stanford, California; Tallahassee, Florida and Waco, Texas.

Little Rock junior Eleonore Aernouts claimed medalist honors after carding rounds of 76-74-72 to finish at 222 (+4). She was five shots ahead of the rest of the field. It marked her second career OVC Championship top two finish.

After the final round the coaches voted Aernouts the OVC Player of the Year. She becomes the second player from her school to earn the award (Anna Dawson in 2024 being the other).

In addition, Little Rock’s Jenna Birch was voted the Bobby Nichols OVC Coach of the Year for the second time in her career (2024).

The All-Tournament Team, which is comprised of the top five finishers and ties, included Aernouts and her teammates Iara Martin and Cloe Poizac, Morehead State’s Isabella Wiley and Claudia Hofmeister and Bryant’s Miranda Prober.

For the week the course played approximately 6,000 yards and was a par 72.

The OVC men's golf championship is next on the schedule, beginning Sunday morning on the Ackerman-Allen Course at the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex in West Lafayette, Indiana.
