Chattanooga’s McKenna Faychak was named the OVC Beach Volleyball Player of the Year and teamed with Maddie Lecik to earn Pair of the Year as voted on by the league’s head coaches and communication directors. Morehead State’s Haylee DePonte was selected as Freshman of the Year while the Coaching Staff of the Year award went to Chattanooga for the third consecutive season.
 
Faychak, a senior from Delray Beach, Fla., went 19-5 overall while compiling a 8-1 OVC mark at the No. 1 spot. Lecik, a senior from Forest, Va., paired with Faychak at the top spot of the Mocs lineup. Both players also earned All-OVC First Team honors.
 
DePonte, a freshman from Aiea, Hawai'i, competed at the No. 3 spot for the majority of the season and played three matched at No. 4. She would ho on to post a 3-4 record in OVC play at the third spot.

The Chattanooga staff, consisting of Darin Van Horn (Head Coach), Juliana Van Horn (Assistant Coach) and Paige Gallentine (Graduate Assistant) earned Coaching Staff of the Year after leading their team to an OVC championship mark of 10-0 while going 21-4 overall. It marked the third time the Mocs claimed a conference title, their second outright title. This is the fourth time the Van Horn’s have been named Staff of the Year after initially earning the award in 2021.
