WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Second round action at the 2026 OVC Men's Golf Championship was suspended due to weather before all 20 groups could finish.
The OVC Championship is being played for the first time on the Ackerman-Allen Course at the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex on the campus of Purdue University. The course is playing par 71 with yardage running 7,093 yards on Monday.
The day's action began with a split tee start to get ahead of afternoon showers. Lightning moved into the area around 1:20pm ET, forcing the suspension of play.
Players that were still on the course will resume play at 8 a.m. ET with third round action (for those who completed play on Monday) will begin off Hole 1 at 8:00 a.m. Parings for round three will be the same as round two.
This year’s Championship features 54 holes of stroke play with the top four teams advancing to Wednesday’s Match Play event.
Little Rock, the defending OVC champions, began Round 2 with a five shot lead and have now extended that to 20 shots, combining for a team score of -13. UT Martin is second (+7) and followed by Western Illinois (+9), Tennessee Tech (+13), Southern Indiana (+14), Morehead State (+17), Bryant (+18), SIUE (+26), Lindenwood (+34), Eastern Illinois (+34) and Tennessee State (+34).
Little Rock's Mark Stockdale and Ed Featherstone are tied for the indivdual lead (-5), one shot ahead of teammate Elliott Simonsen (-4). Western Illinois' Owen Howe and Southern Indiana's Wade Worthington are tied for fourth at -2.
