Little Rock Wins 2026 OVC Men’s Golf Championship

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – No. 1 seed Little Rock topped No. 3 seed Tennessee Tech 4-1 in the Match Play Final to win the 2026 Ohio Valley Conference Men’s Golf Championship at the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex.

It marks the second-straight and third overall title for the Trojans (2023, 2025, 2026). The Trojans are currently ranked No. 49 nationally.

This marked the fifth year Match Play was used to determine the OVC Champion. In the morning’s semifinal matches No. 1 Little Rock topped No. 4 Bryant 4.5-0.5, while No. 3 Tennessee Tech defeated No. 2 UT Martin 5-0.

After a 45-minute break, the final match began at 1:10 p.m.

The match was clinched when redshirt junior Rhett South closed out his match 1UP on the 18th hole.

With the victory, Little Rock earned the OVC's automatic bid into the NCAA Championship. The 2026 field will be announced on Wednesday, April 6 at 1:00 p.m. CT on the Golf Channel.

The NCAA Regionals will be held May 18-20 in Athens, Georgia; Bermuda Run, North Carolina; Bryan, Texas; Columbus, Ohio; Corvallis, Oregon and Marana, Arizona. Following the Regionals the National Championship will be held May 29-June 3 at the Omni La Costa Resort in Carlsbad, California.

For the week the course played a par 71 with yardage running approximately 7,100 yards.
