COOKEVILLE, Tenn. - Tennessee Tech won its third straight match with a 2-1 victory over visiting Belmont on Tuesday.
Reigning OVC Offensive Player of the Week Chloe Smith got Tech on the board with a score at the 23:38 mark
Belmont's Rachel Vernon would tie the game up less than 10 minutes into the second half.
Tennessee Tech's Emily Carlevetao found the back of the net with just over 20 minutes remaining in regulations. Smith provided the assist on the game-winner.
Tech's Isabelle Austin, the OVC Goalkeeper of the Week, picked up the win making a pair of saves.
Belmont keeper Andrea Leitner made two stops.
