MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - After a rescheduled game due to thunderstorms and torrential downpour from last night, the Bruins took on the Blue Raiders at Hayes Stadium in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The Bruins recorded their first loss of the season 0-1.
Anna Sweeney led the Bruins with two shots while Keely Cartrett, Allison Brockelman, Natalie Haverland, Haley Poynter and Mai Thy Nguyen each registered one shot.
Sarah Doyle played all 90 minutes in goal for Belmont and made five saves.
The Bruins are back in action on Sunday as they travel to Evansville.
