The 2022 Ohio Valley Conference Soccer Championship continued with semifinal action on Friday.
This marks the 24th OVC Soccer Championship. The first two rounds were hosted on campus sites last weekend and this weekend's action is on the campus of Tennessee Tech, the regular season champions and No. 1 seed. It marks the first time the Golden Eagles have hosted this round of the tournament.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. - Tennessee Tech defeated Lindenwood, 5-0, to advance to the finals of the 2022 OVC Soccer Championship. The Golden Eagles will face SIUE on Sunday.
Tech's Chloe Smith notched her first career hat trick and also had an assist in the win. She registered five shots in the match. Bailey Taylor and Taylor Clark each had a goal.
Lindenwood's Rachel Jackson and Karleigh Daniels each had two shots to lead the team. Jill Wipke registered the Lions' other shot.
Tennessee Tech's Maggie Conrad earned the shutout making a pair of saves.
#2 SIUE 2, #3 MOREHEAD STATE 0
COOKEVILLE, Tenn. - SIUE defeated Morehead State, 2-0, to advance to the 2022 OVC Soccer Championship finals. The Cougars will face top-seeded Tennessee Tech on Sunday at 1 p.m. CT.
After a scoreless first half, SIUE's Mary Wessel scored a goal off an assist from Sindey Christopher at the 67:37 mark. Maria Haro added an insurance goal.
Seja Podzic led the Eagles with a pair of shots including one on goal. Erin Fite registered Morehead State's other shot on goal.
The Cougars Taylor Spiller earned the shutout as she made a pair of saves in the win.
