Tickets for the 2027 Division I Football Championship game, which will be hosted by the Nashville Sports Council and the Ohio Valley Conference at FirstBank Stadium in Nashville, are now on sale. 

The game will be played on Monday, January 11, 2027 on the campus of Vanderbilt University and will air on national television.

Last year 24,105 fans (the seventh-largest in event history and highest since 1996) saw a thrilling game where Montana State topped Illinois State 35-34 in overtime. It was the first overtime game in the 48-year of the FCS National Championship game.
 
Nashville is the 11th city to host the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) Championship since 1978 and will also host the event in 2027. The Championship was previously played in the state of Tennessee from 1997 to 2009 when Chattanooga served as the host.
