OVC Players of the Week
PLAYER
Tyler Large, OF • 6-2, 215, Jr. • Kansas City Mo. • Western Illinois
In a three-games series at Alabama State, Large hit .667 (8-for-12) with eight runs scored, a double, two triples, six RBI, a .733 on-base percentage and a 1.083 slugging percentage as the Leathernecks won two of three games. The junior opened the weekend by going 3-for-4 with a double, two triples, two RBI and three runs scored. The outfielder followed that by going 2-for-4 with three runs scored and three RBI. Large capped the weekend by going 3-for-4 with two runs scored and a RBI. He currently leads the OVC in triples/game (0.25) and is fourth in batting average (.382).

PITCHER
Haden Dow, LHP • 6-1, 200, Grad. • St. John, New Brunswick • Southeast Missouri
Dow tossed his first complete game shutout on Sunday against Purdue Fort Wayne. The graduate student allowed just three hits (two singles) and did not walk a batter while striking out nine (one off his career high) in picking up his second victory of the season. Dow retired the first nine batters of the game before allowing a single to open the fourth. He then retired 16 of the next 18 batters and finished the game with 115 pitches. It marked the seventh time in his career that he did not walk a batter during a start. Through three starts, Dow lead the OVC with a 0.48 E.R.A. He has 20 strikeouts and only one walk this season.

Drake Bayles (RHP, Jr.), UT Martin. Pitched seven scoreless innings in combining for a shutout over Old Dominion. Allowed four hits and struck out five.

Jaxson Pease (RHP, Jr.), Tennessee Tech. Allowed one run over six innings while striking out a season-high eight in victory over UIC. Improved to 3-0 on the season.

Liam McKillop (RHP, Sr.), SIUE. Pitched 7.0 innings over three appearances, allowing only one hit, while not surrendering a walk and striking out 10 batters.

Jake Radosevich (C, Jr.), Lindenwood. Hit .545 (6-11) with three runs scored, two home runs, nine RBI and a 1.091 slugging percentage.

Hunter Thomas (C Grad.) Morehead State. Continued his torrid pace to start the season by driving in 10 runs over four games. He smashed two home runs and scored three times while hitting .353.

Cole Kitchens (DH, Jr.), Southern Indiana. In three games he hit .455 (5-11) with three runs, three doubles, a walk-off home run against Bowling Green, five RBI and a 1.000 slugging percentage.

Garner Anderson (UTIL, R-So.), UT Martin. In four games hit .417 (5-12) with a double, home runs, six RBI and four stolen bases.
