INDIANAPOLIS - James Geshel tossed 3.2 scoreless innings of relief on Wednesday night as Eastern Illinois (3-1) picked up a 15-12 win over Butler at Grand Park.
Geshel (1-0) entered with the Panthers trailing in the game and held the Bulldogs scoreless to pick up his first win of the season.
Luke Melton helped pace the EIU offense with four RBI picking up three hits at the plate.
Butler fell to 2-3 on the year.
