GameTime Hydration Student-Athlete of the Week: Jordyn Adams

Now in its 73rd year, the Ohio Valley Conference continues to build on the success that has made it the nation's eighth-oldest NCAA Division I conference. Over those 73 years the League has inspired student-athletes to realize their academic aspirations, maximize their athletics potential, and cultivate their leadership skills to prepare them for life beyond their collegiate experience.

As part of a new partnership with GameTime Hydration, each week through the rest of the academic year, we will honor an OVC student-athlete who has excelled in the classroom, in addition to earning accolades on the playing surface.

This week's honoree is Austin Peay sophomore men's basketball player Jordyn Adams. In his first year in Clarksville, Adams was named to the OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll for his work in the classroom as a sociology major. He was also named to the APSU Dean's List and the Athletic Director's Honor Roll.

On the court in 2019-20, he earned OVC Freshman of the Year honors after ranking fourth nationally among freshmen in scoring (17.4 points/game). This season he overcame an injury to return to the lineup and help the Governors qualify for the OVC Tournament.
